The biggest changes we have seen is a rudimentary shift in making the science of disinfecting a focal point on how it benefits the cleaning service industry, especially in this pandemic. One of the modern innovative technologies used widely by the aviation and multiple industries is the electrostatic spraying solution.

We bring forth the latest technology in surface disinfection; Electrostatic Disinfecting Solution. The Electrostatic Disinfecting Solution effectively coats all surfaces, including soft surfaces, and hard to reach porous surfaces with disinfectant to kill bacteria and viruses with lasting effectiveness and requires minimal time, so that your business can be back in operations as soon as possible.

Over 4 decades of experience

With over 4 decades of experience in the cleaning and disinfection industry, we understand that both processes require constant improvements and innovations to meet the ever-changing needs of our customers and the environment we live in.

We conduct regular training and updates with our front line service crew on utilizing the latest cleaning and disinfection techniques and technologies. Our training programs are developed from the British Institute of Cleaning Science, and compliant to KKM’s SOP and guidelines, as well as international standards of the World Health Organization, European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control, Centers for Disease Control and Environmental Protection Agency USA, and National Environment Agency Singapore.

In addition, be assured that monthly PCR tests are conducted for our project and disinfecting teams who work and travel from job sites to job sites while all our foreign service crew placed at designated job sites on contract have gone for mandatory Covid-19 testing.

Electrostatic Disinfecting Solution

blog photo

An electrostatic sprayer charges disinfectant droplets with a positive electric charge before dispensing enabling it to cling onto surfaces that usually have a negative or neutral charge. The disinfectant wraps around surfaces as a thin and even layer, making it ideal for both smooth and porous surfaces, hard-to-reach areas, hard and soft surfaces.

The quick-drying solution produces no run off residue, eliminating the need for wiping and the risk of cross-contamination. The thin layer of disinfectant works like a magnet to surfaces, and kills off bacteria and viruses on the surfaces.

The Electrostatic Disinfecting Solution requires little downtime as the effect is immediate after application, enabling businesses to resume operations as soon as possible without worrying about harmful microbes and pathogens.

How do we do it?

Step

01

We conduct a precautionary check with you to ascertain that your premise is ready before disinfection commences. Food items, paper products and loose items are kept away. All electronic devices and electrical sockets are switched off, and sensitive electronic equipment is covered under plastic sheets.

Step

02

Identify any person that has allergic reactions (difficulty in breathing, eye or skin irritation) to common properties found in disinfectants such as denatonium, quaternary ammonium, chlorine or sodium hypochlorite. Advise to stay away, reentry to the affected area only 24 hours after disinfection.

Step

03

Once the premise is vacated and ready, maclean’s service crew equipped with full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), will enter your premises.

Step

04

Our service crew will start with cleaning to remove dirt and dust from the surfaces, from the innermost area, and move outwards to the entrance/exit.

Step

05

After cleaning, our service crew will follow up with electrostatic disinfection; dispensing positively charged tiny particles of disinfectant to the surfaces; starting from high touch surfaces, followed by low touch areas (eg. corners & edges, etc.), section by section, to ensure consistent coverage of the entire premise.

Step

06

Once the disinfected surfaces dry off, occupants can return to the premise and resume business operations.

Who would benefit?

Will the “wrap around” be effective on all surfaces and sizes?

Yes, electrostatically charged disinfectant particles attract to majority surfaces which are commonly neutral or negative charged, efficiently and effectively wrap around all flat, curved, and angled, smooth and porous, hard and soft surfaces, achieving uniformity in coating.
