If you have a concern about unethical conduct, labour practices, workplace safety, environmental issues, or possible violations of our policies or applicable laws, we encourage you to speak up.

Every concern raised in good faith helps us improve our workplace, protect the rights and well-being of workers, and strengthen our responsible business conduct.

Our grievance mechanism is open to all internal and external stakeholders and is designed to help ensure that concerns are received, reviewed, and addressed fairly, confidentially, and in a timely manner.

How Your Grievance Will Be Handled

Each grievance will be reviewed through a structured and impartial process:

1)  Acknowledge the submission where contact details are provided.
2) Review and investigate the concern fairly and confidentially.
3) Take appropriate action and communicate the outcome where appropriate.

‍Who Can Raise a Concern or Suggestion?

Anyone may raise a grievance, concern, or suggestion, including employees, job applicants, business partners, and members of the public.

What Can Be Reported?

You may report concerns relating to labour and human rights, workplace conduct, health and safety, environmental practices, business ethics, policy breaches, or violations of applicable laws and regulations.‍

‍Confidentiality and Protection Against Retaliation

Maclean protects individuals who raise concerns or report grievances in good faith from retaliation and will protect their identity to the greatest extent practical. Retaliation is a serious breach of company policy and will be addressed accordingly.

Anonymous Reporting

‍Anonymous reporting is accepted. However, providing contact details may enable us to seek additional information, conduct a more thorough investigation, and, where appropriate, communicate the outcome to you.

Grievances should be made honestly and in good faith. Knowingly false or malicious allegations may result in appropriate action, but no action will be taken against anyone who raises a genuine concern in good faith.
